Track Info
The Arlington million is a flat race for thoroughbreds ages 3 years and upwards. The track is 11/4 mile long and is run of the turf course at arlington park in august. This years race will be held on august 9th 2008. The Arlington mile was first introduced in 1981 by Joe Joyce who was the president of Arlington Park at the time. Arlington Park famously ran the arlington million in 1985 under the shadow of a burnt out stand, which was the victim of a fire 25 years earlier.
The Arlington million will take place on August 8, 2010 at Arlington Park in Chicago.
Opening Times
Gates open at 10:00am on the day of the Arlington Million. The First race will be held at 11:45am

Directions
From the East:
Take I-90 West to Route 53 North. Take 53 for 2 miles. Exit Euclid Avenue East. Park entrance is 2 blocks down on the left.
From the North:
Take I-94 South to I-294 South to Willow Road (which becomes Palatine Road). Take Palatine Road to Route 53 South. Take 53 South and exit at Euclid Avenue East. Park entrance is 2 blocks down on the left.
From the South:
(or Southeast, including O'Hare) Take the Northwest Tollway (I-90 West toward Rockford), and exit at Route 53 North. Take 53 for 2 miles. Exit at Euclid Avenue East. Park entrance is 2 blocks down on the left.
From the West:
Take the Northwest Tollway (I-90 East) toward Chicago. Exit at Route 53 North. Take 53 for 2 miles. Exit at Euclid Avenue East. Park entrance is 2 blocks down on the left.
