Delta Downs has a six furlong oval track with two chutes, one which is five furlongs and the other which is eight and a half furlongs. There is a 660 foot stretch after the final corner and the track is around 60 foot wide. The maximum field is 10 horses.
The live racing at Delta Downs runs between October and July each year whilst simulcast racing is shown throughout the year at the course. In season, live racing is shown every day Wednesday to Saturday, however, there is no racing shown on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
Delta Downs is also the home of a recently renovated Casino, which holds much of the latest casino equipment and is a great place to visit after a day at the races.
