The Woodlands racecourse has a one mile dirt oval which has a 1,030 foot stretch to the finish line after the final turn. The live racing season at the Woodlands track starts on September 6th and finishes on October 29th. Live racing is shown Saturday through to Wednesday and simulcast racing is shown all year round, seven days a week. The post time on Live days is 12.00pm.
As well as horses, greyhounds are also raced at the Woodlands and so you can often get live betting action from the early afternoon right into the evening. Dog racing is shown Thursday through Monday, with matinee shows on Saturdays and Sundays with post times of 1.00pm as well as shows on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays with a post time of 4.00pm. The only evening show is on a Saturday at 7.00pm.
