Southland Park hosts live greyhound racing 5 days a week; it is closed on Sundays and Tuesdays. There are Matinee shows Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The post time on a Monday is 4.00pm and on a Wednesday and Saturday it is at 12.45. The evening shows Thursdays through Saturdays and the post time then is 7.00pm.
Admission to the course is free, as is most parking although you can enjoy preferred parking for $3. Simulcast racing is also broadcast at the course and can be bet on throughout the year.
